FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF THE LIBERAL ARTS AND CULTURAL STUDIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY VISUAL AND PERFORMATIVE ARTS, MUSIC, CULTURAL STUDIES AND LITERATURE BY SUPPORTING THE WORK OF THE MARGATE SCHOOL IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THROUGH: • PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION (OF ALL TYPES AND AT ALL LEVELS) IN THE FIELDS OF THE LIBERAL ARTS, INCLUDING VISUAL, PERFORMATIVE ARTS AND ALL TYPES OF CREATIVE AND APPLIED ARTS AND DESIGN. • DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT OF STUDIOS, GALLERIES AND OTHER PLACES WHERE ALL TYPES OF THE CREATIVE ARTS INCLUDING VISUAL AND PERFORMATIVE ARTS, MUSIC, CULTURAL STUDIES AND LITERATURE MAY BE PRACTICED, CREATED AND EXHIBITED. • PROVIDING BURSARIES TO THOSE WHO WISH TO UNDERTAKE FORMAL ARTS EDUCATION WHO HAVE A DEMONSTRABLE NEED FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT.
