THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF RIPON’S BARRACKS AND TRAINING AREAS AND THE ASSOCIATED MILITARY HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF THE CITY OF RIPON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA; AND 2. FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE REMAINING PHYSICAL STRUCTURES REPRESENTING KEY ASPECTS OF THE MILITARY INFRASTRUCTURE OF RIPON’S BARRACKS AND TRAINING AREAS, INCLUDING ASSOCIATED ITEMS AND EQUIPMENT OF HISTORICAL INTEREST.
