Charitable objects
TO PROVIDE A BUILDING AND LAND (THE PROPERTY) WITHIN THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF HOLY TRINITY WITH ALL HALLOWS KENDAL FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: 1. FOR THE CELEBRATION OF DIVINE SERVICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RITES AND CEREMONIES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND AS BY LAW ESTABLISHED. 2. AS A SUNDAY SCHOOL OR SCHOOLS FOR THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND ADULTS OR CHILDREN ONLY IN THE PARISH OF KENDAL AFORESAID ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND, THE CHURCH CATECHISM BEING ALWAYS A FUNDAMENTAL PART OF THE INSTRUCTION GIVEN IN SUCH SCHOOL OR SCHOOLS. 3.AND WHEN AND SO FAR AS THE PROPERTY SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED FOR THE ABOVE PURPOSES, THE TRUSTEES SHALL PERMIT THE SAME TO BE USED AS A CLASSROOM, MEETING ROOM OR LECTURE ROOM FOR MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND FOR CONFIRMATION OR COMMUNICANTS CLASSES OR FOR OTHER RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION OR FOR SECULAR INSTRUCTION UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE VICAR OF THE PARISH. 4. AND SO AS NOT TO INTERFERE WITH THE USE OF THE PROPERTY FOR THE ABOVE PURPOSES, THE TRUSTEES MAY PERMIT THE PROPERTY TO BE USED AS A PLACE OF MEETINGS FOR CLERICAL MEETINGS, OR SOCIAL CONFERENCES OF THE CLERGY, OR DISTRICT VISITORS, FOR COMMITTEES OF ANY SOCIETIES PAROCHIAL OR OTHERWISE CONNECTED WITH THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND, AND FOR MEETINGS TO BE CALLED IN AID OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF ANY SUCH SOCIETIES, OR FOR ANY OTHER MEETINGS OR FOR ANY OTHER OBJECTS ENDS OR PURPOSES HAVING IN VIEW THE SPIRITUAL INTELLECTUAL MORAL OR SOCIAL WANTS OF PROFESSING MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN THE PARISH WHICH THE VICAR MAY THINK DESIRABLE UPON SUCH TERMS AS TO PAYMENT AS THE TRUSTEES WITH THE CONCURRENCE OF THE VICAR MAY THINK EXPEDIENT. TO APPLY ANY CLEAR INCOME DERIVED FROM THE USE OF THE PROPERTY FOR THE USE AND PURPOSE OF FURTHERING THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND WITHIN THE PARISH.
