BAMA seeks to promote the efficiency of the Armed Forces of the Crown, in particular but not exclusively, by encouraging and facilitating participation in all forms of motorsport by current and former members of the British Army in order, for example, to: (a) develop leadership, teamwork, mechanical prowess and self-reliance; and (b) encourage esprit de corps and increase morale.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO (OBJECTS) ARE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY ENCOURAGING AND FACILITATING PARTICIPATION IN ALL FORMS OF MOTORSPORT BY CURRENT AND FORMER MEMBERS OF THE BRITISH ARMY IN ORDER, FOR EXAMPLE, TO: (A) DEVELOP LEADERSHIP, TEAMWORK, MECHANICAL PROWESS AND SELF-RELIANCE; (B) ENCOURAGE ESPRIT DE CORPS AND INCREASE MORALE.
