Charitable objects
1. THE PROMOTION OF THE SOUND ADMINISTRATION OF THE LAW AND THE PROMOTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS FOR CHILDREN (AS SET OUT IN THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS, THE UNITED NATIONS CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD AND OTHER RELEVANT UNITED NATIONS CONVENTIONS AND DECLARATIONS) IN THE YOUTH JUSTICE SECTOR IN ENGLAND AND WALES, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY: A. THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN THE YOUTH JUSTICE SECTOR, OF STAKEHOLDERS AND OF THE PUBLIC; AND B. CONDUCTING AND DISSEMINATING RESEARCH INTO CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE’S INVOLVEMENT WITH AND EXPERIENCES OF THE YOUTH JUSTICE SYSTEM, AND THE CAUSES OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE OFFENDING; 2. THE PREVENTION OF CRIME FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING TO SUPPORT THE YOUTH JUSTICE SYSTEM IN ITS PRINCIPAL AIM OF PREVENTING OFFENDING BY CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE INCLUDING BY EDUCATING, RAISING AWARENESS AND CONDUCTING AND DISSEMINATING RESEARCH.
