Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS (OBJECTS) ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY: (A) ADVANCING ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND CONSERVATION PROJECTS THAT WILL HELP TO PROTECT INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES IN OR AT RISK OF POVERTY AS A RESULT OF THE NEGATIVE IMPACT OF CLIMATE RISKS OR OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS; (B) MAKING GRANTS TO SUBSIDISE THE PURCHASE OF INSURANCE AND OTHER RISK TRANSFER PRODUCTS THAT WILL HELP TO PROTECT INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES WHICH (I) ARE IN OR AT RISK OF POVERTY AS A RESULT OF THE NEGATIVE IMPACT OF CLIMATE RISKS OR OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS; AND (II) DO NOT OTHERWISE HAVE THE FINANCIAL MEANS TO PURCHASE SUCH PRODUCTS; AND (C) UNDERTAKING, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, RESEARCH AND RISK-MODELLING IN CONNECTION WITH RESILIENCE-BUILDING PROJECTS AND THEIR CAPACITY TO PROTECT INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES IN OR AT RISK OF POVERTY THROUGH THE NEGATIVE IMPACT OF CLIMATE RISKS OR OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS.
