3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 3.1.1THE RELIEF OF THE AGED, SICK, DISABLED OR POOR INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF CHIPPENHAM; 3.1.2 TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF CHIPPENHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS, THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS. 3.1.3 THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF CHIPPENHAM; 3.1.4 THE PROMOTION OF ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE, WHETHER OR NOT OF A NATURE SIMILAR TO ANY PURPOSE SPECIFIED IN CLAUSES 3.1.1, 3.1.2 AND 3.1.3 ABOVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF CHIPPENHAM.
