THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, SOLELY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO: 3.1.1 PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF HARDY PLANTS, IN PARTICULAR THE OLDER, RARER AND LESSER-KNOWN HARDY PLANTS, CULTIVARS AND VARIETIES; 3.1.2 ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF HARDY PLANTS; AND 3.1.3 ADVANCE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES ASSOCIATED WITH HORTICULTURE AND BOTANY (ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES) AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME.
