(1) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE OF ZIMBABWE AND SOUTHERN AFRICA UP TO THE AGE OF 25 (‘THE BENEFICIARIES’) THE PROVISION AND SUPPORT OF FACILITIES IN GORDON PARK, MATABELELAND, ZIMBABWE (‘GORDON PARK’) FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: (1.1) THE RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF THE BENEFICIARIES WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES, IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; (1.2) DEVELOPING THE SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES OF THE BENEFICIARIES IN CONSERVATION, LOCAL HERITAGE AND LEADERSHIP TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS. (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE BENEFICIARIES IN THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF GORDON PARK AND IMMEDIATE SURROUNDING AREAS LOCATED IN SOUTHERN ZIMBABWE.
