THE OBJECTS OF THE KVCA ARE: TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF KINGSWOOD VILLAGE AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD (HEREINAFTER CALLED “THE AREA OF BENEFIT”) WITHOUT DISTINCTION AS TO SEX, AGE, RACE, RELIGION OR BELIEFS, POLITICAL OR OTHER OPINIONS, SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR DISABILITY, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS. IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS BUT NOT OTHERWISE, THE TRUSTEES SHALL HAVE POWER: TO ACQUIRE THE UNDERTAKING, BUSINESS, OPERATION, ASSETS AND LIABILITIES OF THE KINGSWOOD VILLAGE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION, CHARITY REGISTERED NUMBER 275187, (THE "FORMER CHARITY") AND TO CARRY ON THE OWNERSHIP, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE KINGSWOOD VILLAGE HALL IN SUCCESSION TO THE FORMER CHARITY AND TO MAINTAIN OR MANAGE OR COOPERATE WITH ANY STATUTORY AUTHORITY IN THE OPERATION, MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH A HALL FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE CHARITY IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS.
