Charitable objects
FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY: (1) AWARDING TO SUCH PERSONS SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS TENABLE AT ANY SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE OR OTHER PLACE OF LEARNING. (2) PROVIDING GRANTS TOWARDS EDUCATION (INCLUDING THE STUDY OF MUSIC OR OTHER ARTS), TO UNDERTAKE TRAVEL IN FURTHERANCE OF THAT EDUCATION OR TO PREPARE FOR ENTRY TO ANY OCCUPATION, TRADE OR PROFESSION ON LEAVING ANY EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT. (3) PROVIDING GRANTS TOWARDS THE PURCHASE OF BOOKS, OUTFITS, CLOTHING, TOOLS OR INSTRUMENTS. THE BENEFICIARIES MUST BE PERSONS WHO ARE EITHER RESIDENT IN THE AREAS OF FROME TOWN COUNCIL, FROME SELWOOD PARISH COUNCIL, BERKLEY PARISH COUNCIL OR CORSLEY PARISH COUNCIL, OR WHO ATTEND A PLACE OF LEARNING IN THOSE AREAS.
