THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1 THE RELIEF OF BENEFICIARIES WHO ARE IN NEED BY REASONS OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY OR AGE. IN THE CLAUSE "BENEFICIARIES" SHALL MEAN PERSONS WHO ARE, OR HAVE BEEN, OR ARE TRAINING TO BE, MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS, OR THE WIVES, WIDOWS, HUSBANDS, WIDOWERS, CIVIL PARTNERS, CHILDREN OR OTHER DEPENDANTS OF SUCH MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS OR OF DECEASED MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DETERMINE. 2 TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO PERSONS WHO ARE TRAINING TO BE MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS. 3 TO ADVANCE MEDICAL EDUCATION BY PROVIDING SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE TO YOUNG PERSONS IN FULL TIME EDUCATION WHO ARE INTERESTED IN PURSUING A CAREER IN MEDICINE.
