Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("OBJECTS") ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: (1) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND THE PRUDENT USE OF RESOURCES THROUGH THE PROMOTION AND USE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY AND ENERGY SAVING MEASURES; (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ABOUT ENERGY EFFICIENCY, ENERGY CONSERVATION, AND THE USE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES; AND (3) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF PUBLIC HEALTH BY PROMOTING THE EFFICIENT USE OF ENERGY AND UTILISATION OF RENEWABLE SOURCES OF ENERGY. NOTHING IN THE ARTICLES SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND/OR SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
