40 Degreez is aimed at meeting the need for the provision of youth services in Farnham and surrounding areas. Its need has been a recognised for some years now by schools, youth workers, the police, Farnham Town Council and Waverley Borough Council, for improving services and facilities for young people and assisting social inclusion.

Charitable objects
A) TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING WITHIN THE FARNHAM AREA IN PARTICULAR THOSE AGED BETWEEN 15 AND 25 YEARS, ESPECIALLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH LEISURE-TIME ACTIVITIES SO TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY AND THAT THEIR CONDITION OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED. B) THE PROJECT SHALL BE NON-PARTY IN POLITICS AND NON-SECTARIAN IN RELIGION AND SHALL SUPPORT THE PRINCIPLE OF EQUAL OPPORTUNITY.
