1.)THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE PRACTICE OF AND EDUCATION IN GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS ESPECIALLY AT ST. THOMAS' HOSPITAL BY ALL CHARITABLE MEANS AND IN PARTICULAR BY:- (I) PROVIDING EQUIPMENT (II) FUNDING RESEARCH AND THE PUBLICATION OF ITS RESULTS (III) PROMOTING THE EDUCATION OF BOTH THOSE ENGAGED IN THE PRACTICE OF GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS AND THE PUBLIC IN THE CARE OF MOTHERS AND BABIES BEFORE AND AFTER BIRTH. 2.) THE GENERAL PURPOSES OF SUCH CHARITABLE BODIES OR FOR SUCH OTHER PURPOSES AS SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.
