(1) TO RELIEVE PATIENTS AND FORMER PATIENTS WHO ARE SICK CONVALESCENT DISABLED HANDICAPPED OR INFIRM OF THE CARDIOTHORACIC DEPARTMENT OF THE LEEDS GENERAL INFIRMARY (2) TO PRESERVE AND PROMOTE THE GOOD HEALTH OF SUCH PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES (3) TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR SUCH PATIENTS (4) TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE WORK OF OTHER SIMILAR CARDIAC UNITS AND DEPARTMENTS IN HOSPITALS THROUGHOUT YORKSHIRE
