1)THE RELIEF OF THOSE PERSONS RESIDENT WITHIN THE INDIAN SUB-CONTINENT OR ELSEWHERE IN THE WORLD AS THE COMMITTEE SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED,HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS,OR WHO ARE AGED OR SICK.2)TO SAFEGUARD,PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE HEALTH,BOTH MENTAL AND PHYSICAL OF CHILDREN,AND PARENTS OF CHILDREN ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD,AS THE COMMITTEE SHALL IN THEIR DISCRETION THINK FIT.3)TO RELIEVE SICKNESS,POVERTY AND NEED AMONGST NECESSITOUS PERSONS,IN PARTICULAR FOR THE RELIEF OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS.4)TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AMONGST THE PERSONS AFORESAID BY THE PROVISION OF SCHOLARSHIP,GRANTS OR BURSARIES AS THE COMMITTE SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETREMINE.
