(A) THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION SAFEGUARDING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE HEALTH OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN KUWAIT AND THE UK GENERALLY BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: (1) THE PROVISION OF DIAGNOSTIC AND OTHER MEDICAL EQUIPMENT MEDICATION AND SUPPLIES FOR THE USE OF PUBLIC CLINICS AND HOSPITALS IN EACH OF THE AREAS OF BENEFIT, (2) THE FACILITATION AND FUNDING OF THE EXCHANGE OF SPECIALIST MEDICAL PERSONNEL BETWEEN PUBLIC HOSPITALS IN THE AREAS OF BENEFIT AND (3) THE CONDUCT OF RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES AND CURE AND TREATMENT OF DISEASES ENDEMIC IN THE AREAS OF BENEFIT AND THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF ANY SUCH RESEARCH.
