THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF ONE OR MORE HALFWAY HOUSES FOR THE RECEPTION AND CARE OF WOMEN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 25 YEARS AND 65 YEARS WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF RACE ,BACKGROUND ,POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM THE EFFECTS OF ALCOHOLISM AND OTHER DRUG DEPENDENCE;AND TO PROMOTE AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISIONS OF THE WHOLE SPECTRUM OF TREATMENT AND AFTER CARE FOR ALCOHOLISM AND OTHER DRUG DEPENDENCE FOR THE RELIEF OF SUCH WOMEN,BASED ON A 12 STEP PROGRAMME OF RECOVERY AS DEFINED BY THE VARIOUS "ANNONYMOUS"SELF HELP FELLOWSHIPS WITH THE GOAL OF TOTAL ABSTINENCE
