"THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONGREGATIONAL OR INDEPENDENTS DENOMINATION IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE ESTABLISHING AND ASSISTING IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF CHURCHES AND THE PROVISION OF MINISTRY AND OUTREACH WORK, PREACHING AND COMMUNICATING THE GOSPEL PRIMARILY THROUGH THE MEDIUM OF WELSH, THE PAYMENT AND SUBSIDISING OF PART TIME MINISTERS, LAY WORKERS AND OTHER OUTREACH WORKERS, AND THE PROVISION FOR RETIRED MINISTERS, THEIR WIDOWS AND WIDOWERS, PARTNERS AND THEIR CHILDREN THROUGH THE MEDIUM OF LOANS AND GRANTS."
