1.TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO THE PSYCHOLOGICAL, LEGAL, MEDICAL OR OTHER PROBLEMS OF STEPFAMILIES AND TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH. 2.TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF MEMBERS OF SUCH FAMILIES IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF A COUNSELLING SERVICE 3.TO RELIEVE POVERTY AMONG MEMBERS OF SUCH FAMILIES IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF AN ADVICE AND INFORMATION SERVICE FOR THOSE UNABLE TO PROVIDE SUCH ADVICE AND INFORMATION FROM THEIR OWN RESOURCES
