The object of the South Derbyshire Trust is:- "to promote the development of music making opportunities for people in South Derbyshire and surrounding areas. It will do this by, amongst other things, making available music experiences through the provision of musical and concert opportunities and making available musical instruments as and when necessary".

IT WILL DO THIS BY, AMONGST OTHER THINGS, MAKING AVAILABLE MUSIC EXPERIENCES THROUGH THE PROVISION OF MUSICAL AND CONCERT OPPURTUNITIES AND MAKING AVAILABLE MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AS AND WHEN NECESSARY.
