(2) THE RELIEF OF NEEDY PERSONS FROM THE JEWISH COMMUNITY IN THE MANCHESTER AREA BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSITANCE AND SUCH OTHER HELP CALCULATED TO RELIEVE THEIR SUFFERING. (3) SUCH OTHER PURPOSES AS ARE RECOGNISED BY ENGLISH LAW AS CHARITABLE.
