THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND IN PARTICULAR FOR THE RETRAINING OF SUITABLY QUALIFIED PERSONS, NORMALLY WOMEN, FOLLOWING A CAREER BREAK IN THE FIELDS OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING THROUGH THE FUNDING OF PART-TIME FELLOWSHIPS IN ANY UNIVERSITY OR OTHER HIGHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT IN THE UNITED KINGDOM APPROVED BY THE TRUSTEES WHICH RETRAINING SHOULD NORMALLY INCLUDE BOTH STUDIES TO UPDATE EXISTING KNOWLEDGE AND A RESEARCH PROJECT.
