TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AND TO PROMOTE RACIAL HARMONY BY CONDUCTING RESEARCH INTO THE EFFECT OF RACISM WITHIN THE SOCIAL SERVICES AND ALLIED PROFESSIONS AND PUBLISHING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH WITH THE INTENTION OF MAKING THE PUBLIC MORE AWARE OF THE PROBLEMS EXPERIENCED BY MEMBERS OF THE BLACK COMMUNITY UNDER THE PRESENT SYSTEM AND PROMOTING EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY AND GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN PERSONS OF DIFFERENT RACIAL GROUPS
