1 THE RELIEF OF ILLNESS, SICKNESS AND SUFFERING OF PHYSICALLY DISABLED PERSONS RESIDING IN THE AREA OF THE COUNTY OF BERKSHIRE AND WEST MIDDLESEX BY BRINGING SUCH PERSONS INTO CLOSER ASSOCIATION WITH ABLE-BODIED PEOPLE AND THE PROVISION OF, OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF, FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATIONS OF SUCH PERSONS 2 TO ADVANCE EDUCATION BY BRINGING DISABLED PEOPLE IN TO CLOSER ASSOCIATION AND INTEGRATION WITH ABLE-BODIED PEOPLE SO THAT THE FORMER WILL HAVE OPPORTUNITIES FOR OVERCOMING THEIR DISABILITIES AND THE LATTER BENEFIT FROM SUCH ASSOCIATION AND INTEGRATION
