1 THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO (BUT NOT BY WAY OF LIMITATION) THE HISTORY AND USE OF CANALS, CANAL BOATS AND RELATED TRADES, CRAFTS AND ARTS 2 THE RESTORATION TO GOOD AND NAVIGABLE ORDER OF THE GRAND UNION CANAL BETWEEN TROY CUT AND CROXLEY MOOR IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST 3 THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THOSE PERSONS FOR WHOM THE FACILITIES ARE PROVIDED WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO (BUT NOT BY WAY OF LIMITATION) TO CANALS AND ASSOCIATED WATERWAYS.
