Activities - how the charity spends its money
The principle activity is the provision of grant support for the relief of need, hardship and distress among Officers and former Officers of the Regiment and the Regiments or the Territorial Army units who are in need of assistance, and their families and dependents. To the extent that income is not required for the principle activity, the Trustees may apply it for the benefit of serving officers.

Charitable objects
(1) THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WHO ARE IN NEED BY VIRTUE OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, SICKNESS, DISABILITY, OR THE EFFECTS OF OLD AGE; AND (A) ARE OFFICERS OR FORMER OFFICERS OF THE REGIMENT, THE FORMER REGIMENTS OR THE TERRITORIAL ARMY UNITS; OR (B) THE FAMILIES OR DEPENDENTS OF SUCH PERSONS. (2) THE TRUSTEES MAY RELIEVE PERSONS IN NEED BY: (A) MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO THEM; OR (B) PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES FOR THEM; OR (C) MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO OTHER PERSONS OR BODIES WHO PROVIDE GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES TO THOSE IN NEED. (3) IF AND IN SO FAR AS THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY CANNOT BE APPLIED TOWARDS THE PURPOSE SPECIFIED IN SUB-CLAUSE (1) ABOVE, THE TRUSTEES MAY APPLY IT FOR THE BENEFIT OF SERVING OFFICERS OF THE REGIMENT OR THE TERRITORIAL ARMY UNITS IN SUCH CHARITABLE WAYS FOR THE EFFICIENCY OF THE REGIMENT AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DECIDE.
