The field is used by the following clubs;-? cricket, football. Other events organised by the committee vary from quiz nights to race evening and themed nights. Bingo nights are held on a regular basis and, this aside the pavilion is let out to various organisations and private functions at a nominal rate.

Charitable objects
TO PROVIDE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF DODDINGTON AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF RELAXATION AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS ON LAND KNOWN AS CLAPHAM COMMON RECREATION FIELD AND ON ANY ADJACENT LAND THAT THE COMMITTEE MAY MANAGE IN THE PUTURE
