Charitable objects

1. TO RELIEVE POVERTY GENERALLY AND PARTICULARLY FOR FAMILIES WITH NEWBORN BABIES AND YOUNG CHILDREN WITHIN THE CITY OF LEICESTER AND ITS ENVIRONS. 2. TO USE TIME, SKILLS AND EXPERTISE OF UNEMPLOYED AND RETIRED PEOPLE WISHING TO ENGAGE IN VOLUNTARY WORK OF A PRACTICAL NATURE AND BY THE TEACHING OF PRACTICAL AND SOCIAL SKILLS SHALL UNDERTAKE TO HELP WITH THE LONG TERM REHABILITATION OF THOSE VOLUNTEERS DEEMED AS HAVING EXTRA SUUPPORT NEEDS.
