TO EDUCATE BY PUBLICITY, LECTURES, ADVERTISING OR ANY OTHER LAWFUL MEANS THE RESIDENTS AND INHABITANTS OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE IN PARTICULAR AND THE UK IN GENERAL IN THE DESIRABILITY OF ELIMINATING DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF RACE, SEX AND RELIGION AND TO EDUCATE AND PROMOTE THE IDEA AND PRACTICE OF EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES IN ALL WALKS OF LIFE BOTH PRIVATE AND PUBLIC WITH PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON THE PROBLEMS FACED BY THE AFRO-CARIBBEAN/AFRICAN COMMUNITY AND THEIR DESCENDANTS IN THE CITY AND THE COUNTY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE.
