Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE ROYALS SHALL BE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE RAINHAM PARISH IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING AND THE SURROUNDING AREA (“THE AREA OF BENEFIT”) WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS: (A) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND FACILITIES (BOTH OUTDOOR AND INDOOR) TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES AND SO THAT THEY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY AND SO THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED; AND (B) TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND ASSOCIATE TOGETHER THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS.?
