1.THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE SIKH RELIGION INCLUDING RELIGIOUS EDUCATION.2.THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, PARTICULARLY IN THE ENGLISH AND PUNJAB LANGUAGES AND THE TEACHING OF SIKH HISTORY CULTURE AND CUSTOMS.3.THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES (INCLUDING FACILITIES FOR MEETINGS) OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH MEMBERS OF THE SAID SIKH COMMUNITY WHO ARE IN NEED THEREOF BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH AGE INFIRMITY AND DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, AND 4.THE PROMOTION OF GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN PERSONS OF DIFFERENT RACIAL AND ETHNIC GROUPS
