Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED ARE TO HOLD MONEYS INVESTMENTS AND PROPERTY FOR SUCH PURPOSE OR PURPOSES AS SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES, PROVIDED THAT NOTHING IN THE ARTICLES SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW OF FRANCE; AND IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE CHARITY MAY MAKE GRANTS FOR: 1 THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SUFFERING, SICKNESS OR DISTRESS: 2 THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BECAUSE OF YOUTH, AGE, DISABILITY, ILL-HEALTH, OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP; 3 THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION; AND 4 THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH OR THE SAVING OF LIVES.
