THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES ADOPTED AND APPROVED BY THE EVANGELICAL ALLIANCE AND THE WORSHIP AND ENJOYMENT OF GOD WITH PRACTICAL OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDMENTS AND IN PARTICULAR TO PROMOTE JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD AND TO BRING THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST TO PEOPLE IN SPECIAL NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS AND THROUGH HIS GRACE AND THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO BRING THEM TO A FULFILLING AND PRODUCTIVE LIFE. TO PROVIDE CARE BASED ON BIBLICAL CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES FOR THE POOR AND NEEDY IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY AIDING AND ASSISTING PERSONS SUFFERING FROM SUBSTANCE ADDICTIONS AND COMPULSIVE BEHAVIOURAL PROBLEMS. TO ENCOURAGE TRAIN AND PROVIDE FINANCIAL AND PRACTICAL ASSISTANCE TO CHURCHES AND CHRISTIAN PEOPLE IN GENERAL TO EFFECTIVELY HELP AND COUNSEL THOSE IN SPECIAL NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS. TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND TO PROMOTE THE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION ABOUT DRUG AND ALCHOHOL ADDICTION AND PERSONALITY DISORDERS MENTAL ILLNESS CRIMINALITY AND ANY OTHER MATTERS THE COMPANY THINKS APPROPRIATE IN ORDER TO MAKE PEOPLE AWARE OF THE DANGERS OF A LIFESTYLE WHICH COULD LEAD TO SUBSTANCE ADDICTION OR COMPULSIVE BEHAVIOURAL PROBLEMS AND TO IMPROVE THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF PEOPLE IN NEED AND TO ASSIST THEIR RECOVERY FROM ANY ILLNESS EITHER PHYSICAL OR MENTAL AND TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE VALUE OF LEADING ONES LIFE IN ACCORDANCE WITH BIBLICAL CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES.
