Our Aim is to help anyone within the Greater Manchester Area who has had, or is about to have,an Ileostomy or Internal Pouch operation by helping them get back to 'normal life' We aim to offer advice and support on a range of issues including stoma management and how this will affect aspects of life such as social activities and relationships.

TO HELP ANYONE LIVING IN THE MANCHESTER AREA AND ELSWHERE WHOSE COLON HAS BEEN, OR IS ABOUT TO BE REMOVED OR WHO HAS AN ILEOSTOMY.TO PROMOTE AND CO-ORDINATE RESEARCH INTO BOWEL DISEASE AND RELATED MATTERS AND FURTHER TO PROMOTE THE DISSEMINATION OF KNOWLEDGE GAINED BY SUCH RESEARCH. TO KEEP ILEOSTOMISTS AND OTHERS INFORMED OF ALL MATTERS OF INTEREST TO THE ASSOCIATION BY THE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION AND BY ARRANGING CONFERENCES, SEMINARS AND COURSES.
