1) TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE BRIGADE OF GURKHAS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY B:. A) FOSTERING ESPRIT DE CORPS AND COMRADESHIP BY PROMOTING AND MAINTAINING CONTACT AMONG SERVING AND FORMER MEMBERS OF THE BRIGADE OF GURKHAS AND THE FORMER REGIMENT, B) PRESERVING THE HISTORY AND TRADITIONS OF THE FORMER REGIMENT, (2) TO RELIEVE FORMER MEMBERS OF THE FORMER REGIMENT OR FORMER OR SERVING MEMBERS OF THE BRIGADE OF GURKHAS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS. 3) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF THE BENEFICIARIES REFERRED TO UNDER CLAUSE 4.(2) ABOVE
