Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Friends of Berwick and District Museum and Archives support, and promote use by the public of Berwick Art Gallery and Museum and Berwick Record Office. This is achieved through several means. Local history and the work of the Record Office and Museum is promoted via a website and annual lectures; volunteers contribute to projects, help at events, and raise funds to support our aims.

Charitable objects
The objects of the Friends are the education of the public by promoting and supporting and assisting (i) the preservation of archives relating to Berwick-upon-Tweed and North Northumberland and their local accessibility for historical research; and (ii) the use of the Berwick ?upon-Tweed Museum and Art Gallery.
