FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PRESERVE AND SAVE LIFE BY THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF AN INSHORE RESCUE SERVICE ALONG AND OFF THE COAST OF EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE, AND BY THE PROMOTION TO THE PUBLIC OF ALL ASPECTS OF WATER SAFETY.
