TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF BOYS LEAVING THE SIXTH FORM OF SHREWSBURY SCHOOL, BY THE PROVISION OF A SCHOLARSHIP OR SCHOLARSHIPS TO BE AWARDED ANNUALLY TO ENABLE A BOY OR BOYS TO UNDERTAKE AN EXPEDITION ABROAD FOR THE PURPOSES OF ADVANCING KNOWLEDGE OR RESEARCHING INTO GEOGRAPHY, HISTORY, ARCHAEOLOGY, SOCIOLOGY AND ECONOMICS, TOGETHER WITH TOPOGRAPHY,ECOLOGY,METEROLOGY,BOTANY, ZOOLOGY,HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY AND ALLIED SUBJECTS.
