The Earth and Space Foundation seeks to advance the links between environmentalism and space settlement. It awards grants each year to fieldwork and research that accomplishes this goal. This includes work that uses space technology to solve environmental problems or uses Earth environments to enhance space exploration and settlement. It awards approximately five grants each year.
