Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH SUBCO IS ESTABLISHED ARE: - A) TO RELIEVE PERSONS PRIMARILY ORIGINATING FROM THE SUB CONTINENT (WHICH SHALL BE INTERPRETED TO INCLUDE IRAN, IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN, INDIA, SRI LANKA, INDONESIA, THE PHILIPPINES, SINGAPORE, NEPAL, BANGLADESH, MALAYSIA, THAILAND, CHINA, MAURITIUS, VIETNAM AND CAMBODIA) WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS; B) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROMOTING THE EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL INTERESTS OF PERSONS ORIGINATING FROM THE SUB-CONTINENT RESIDING IN THE UK BY THE PROVISION OF LANGUAGE CLASSES, LIBRARY FACILITIES, CULTURAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES; C) TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR THOSE WHO NEED THEM BECAUSE OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
