TO RELIEVE POVERTY SICKNESS AND DISTRESS AMONG PERSONS WHO HAVE SUFFERED THE SAME AS A RESULT OF ANY CRIMINAL OFFENCES COMMITTED BY A PERSON OR THROUGH ANY MEANS WHATEVER AND THE FAMILIES OF SUCH PERSONS WHO ARE IN NEED, WHERE SUCH PERSONS ARE RESIDENT WITHIN THE AREA POLICED BY THE DORSET COUNTY CONSTABULARY.
