FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING THE GENERAL PURPOSES OF THE WORK OF THE YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION MOVEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES AND PRINCIPLES FROM TIME TO TIME APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OR SUCH BODY AS SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME BE THE PRINCIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION IN ENGLAND AND HAVING SPECIAL REGARD TO ANY SPECIAL NEEDS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT
