THE PROVISION OF ALMSHOUSES FOR OCCUPATION BY NEEDY PERSONS WHO ARE ELDERLY OR PHYSICALLY DISABLED ON TERMS APPROPRIATE TO THEIR NEEDS; PREFERENCE BEING GIVEN TO THOSE WHO ARE LIVING OR HAVE PREVIOUSLY LIVED IN THE DISTRICT OF DOVER AND MORE PARTICULARLY IN THE FORMER BOROUGH OF DEAL AND THE PARISHES OF SHOLDEN AND RINGWOULD.
