We are a UK / Romanian charity helping a wide range of groups in need in Romania, including at-risk children, families, the sick, the elderly, destitute communities. - Working with our Romanian partners we help over 12,000 people a year. - We spend donations quickly and don't have a large "reserve" of cash sitting in the bank. - Please see www.relieffundforromania.co.uk for full details

THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS,SUFFERING AND DISTRESS AMONGST THE PEOPLE OF ROMANIA, WHETHER OR NOT ORDINARILY OR TEMPORARILY RESIDENT IN ROMANIA, WHO ARE VICTIMS OF CIVIL UNREST, OR WHO OTHERWISE HAVE NEED OF SUCH RELIEF BY VIRTUE OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES AND TO GRANT RELIEF TO SUCH PERSONS EITHER DIRECTLY OR (IF THE TRUSTEES SO DECIDE) THROUGH THE AGENCY OF OTHER CHARITIES
