TO ENCOURAGE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ORGANISED LIFE SAVING AS A VOLUNTARY VITAL PUBLIC SERVICE AND IN BEACH AND WATER SPORTS FOR ENJOYMENT AND RECREATION. ADDITIONALLY TO ENCOURAGE THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF TEAMWORK AND RESPONSIBILITY IN BOTH ACTIVITIES.
