FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF THE SUDAN CAMPAIGNS, THE HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT OF RIVER GUNBOATS, THE LIFE AND MILITARY CAREER OF LORD KITCHENER AND GENERALLY IN THE SUBJECT OF BRITISH AND SUDANESE MILITARY HISTORY IN PARTICULAR BY RESTORING, PRESERVING AND MAINTAINING AND ASSISTING IN THE RESTORATION, PRESERVATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE GUNBOATS AND IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE SOCIETY THROUGH ITS COMMITTEE MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.
