1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF CHRISTIAN RELIGION. 2) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF BRIDGWATER AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD THEREOF WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS.
