1.THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AMONGST HOMELESS AND POORLY HOUSED PEOPLE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED IN THE U.K. AND THE ASSISTANCE OF CHURCHES AND OTHER RELIGIOUS GROUPS IN RESPONSE TO SUCH NEEDS, AND ALSO: 2.THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AS TO THE NATURE,CAUSE AND EFFECTS OF POVERTY HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS AND THE CONDUCTING OF RESEARCH CONCERNING THE SAME AND MAKING AVAILABLE THE RESULTS TO THE PUBLIC.
